The Four Seasons Song
When leaves are falling down, what is the season now? A guessing song about the four seasons in the garden.

About this song
The Four Seasons Song is a guessing game. Each verse describes something you can see in the garden: leaves falling to the ground, puddles after the rain, robins singing as the flowers come up, and long hot days when the vegetables grow. Then it asks the question: what is the season now? Little ones shout the answer.
The song goes round all four seasons twice, so the second time children know the answers before they are sung. It ends with a question for everyone listening: what’s your favourite season?
What it teaches: The four seasons and their order, noticing changes in nature, call and answer, guessing from clues

The Four Seasons Song - Lyrics
When leaves are falling down,
I see them on the ground.
What is the season now?
Autumn!
When rain is pouring down,
And puddles on the ground.
What is the season now?
Winter!
When robins are singing loud,
And flowers fill the ground.
What is the season now?
Spring!
The days are long and hot,
And vegetables grow a lot.
What is the season now?
Summer!
When leaves are falling down,
I see them on the ground.
What is the season now?
Autumn!
When rain is pouring down,
And puddles on the ground.
What is the season now?
Winter!
When robins are singing loud,
And flowers fill the ground.
What is the season now?
Spring!
The days are long and hot,
And vegetables grow a lot.
What is the season now?
Summer!
Four seasons every year,
Four seasons every year.
Spring, summer, autumn, winter.
What’s your favourite season?
