About this song
This is the lullaby every child knows, sung slowly and softly over a music box, followed by new verses written for My Garden Songs. As the song goes on, the night grows calmer: the whole garden goes to sleep, the little daisies close their eyes, and the stars come out one by one, ready to be counted.
It is made to be the very last song of the day. The first verse is the traditional one, so even the smallest listeners can join in, and the counting verse gives sleepy eyes something gentle to do before they close.
What it teaches: A classic nursery rhyme, counting to four, winding down for sleep, noticing the night sky

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - Lyrics
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Up you’re shining in the sky,
Like a diamond up so high.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
When you twinkle, you’re so bright,
Full of joy and full of light.
Please stay shining with a spark,
Shine on softly through the dark.
Twinkle, twinkle, shining star,
Glowing softly where you are.
When the night is calm and deep,
All the garden goes to sleep.
Little daisies close their eyes,
Underneath the sleepy skies.
Twinkle, twinkle, shining star,
Glowing softly where you are.
When the sky turns dark and blue,
One by one, the stars come through.
One star, two stars, three stars, four,
Sleepy eyes need count no more.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
